Oblique thoughts #1

There’s a pretty popular saying…

The grass is greener on the other side.

You know who came up with this proverb? It was a terrible gardner.
The story goes that this gardener used to water his garden with a hose. And he would always hold the hose up to his waist and spray it over his garden. He would always stand on the same spot, every time he watered his garden. And never did he move over and water the patch that he was standing on. Well well…it comes as no surprise now, does it?

Truth is, my friends, the grass is greener where you water it. Focus your energy on things that matter, and you won’t have to worry about what’s on the other side.

See you soon!
